Billy Strings Baltimore reviews
Hot as balls
Billy Strings raged. He was amazing, as expected. The venue, however, was a huge problem. It was way too hot and there must’ve been 5000 people in there and only six people selling water and beverages during the set break. Absolutely reprehensible and irresponsible to have that many people and not have more water vendors. Not to mention the lack of bathrooms. And the bar area with the only air-conditioning in the entire venue closed as the SAP break began. I won’t be going to this auditorium again for a show. It’s historic and beautiful but this was incredibly poorly planned for a crowd this large.
Music was amazing, venue could've been better
First concert at Bridgestone, but I've been to plenty of hockey games there. First time seeing Billy Strings, too!
I waited a little late to buy tickets, so we were in a corner by the stage. My line of sight was even with the performer's line on stage - not great, but certainly worth what I paid; I had no complaints. Sound quality was excellent, though, and people in the section were all into the music. Everything was great until a couple planted themselves in our sight line and totally blocked our view of the stage.
We were blocked for probably 1/3 of the show. A security person from the venue asked them to move several times, but they ignored her. It would've been a perfect night, except for this.
